They told you it was time
to tear down the wall.
Now where are your defenses,
to the hate, and pain?
They say without your barriers
you’ll be fine.
You say without the levy,
you’ll break down and cry.
Time wears us down,
to a people of evil.
You say you want to set down the world, because it’s heavy.
I say nothing.
I don’t fight your fights.
I have my own.
I say it’s your own problem.
That’s what’s wrong with the world today.
It’s too heavy.
