About TLC
TLC is all about talk. Conversations. It’s about getting to know people, and trying to help and enlighten others outside the group. It’s a really progressively thinking group of people getting together and talking about what can change. Talking about what they really think and why. And I really do feel like TLC does have a positive impact on the community. Sounds pretty good, eh?But seriously, after my first meeting, I was kind of awed. “Oh my gosh, I just had intelligent conversations with people my age for over an hour!” Startling.
Aside from the great conversations, we also get to write for the coolest literary publication to hit Conifer ever. Past and future. The Platypus! is a publication that is created almost entirely by high school students and it is designed as an outlet for uncensored teenage expression. Not your standard school newspaper.
Pretty much, I’m glad I’ve been in TLC and I encourage everyone to check it out… we’re pretty sweet.
